bio:
Growing up in the Texas Panhandle town of Wellington, Wes Reeves developed an insight into an enigmatic land and its inhabitants. In Yellow Dirt, Reeves reveals the vibrancy of a region with poetry, corralling the immeasurable plains with the language of the unseen.
Since 1991 Wes and his wife, Kim, have lived in Amarillo, where they raised two children. He's worked as a reporter and corporate media relations representative and volunteers his free time to preserve and celebrate the history of the Texas Panhandle. Wes is also involved with community-building efforts for the benefit of future generations who will someday claim this land for their own.
